We are Carson and Whitney, a photography duo living in Vincennes, IN. We focus on styled newborn sessions, milestone sessions, seniors, weddings and family sessions that truly capture the personalities of our clients. Our passion is for our clients to have a memorable experience before, during and after our sessions take place. Our mission is to make you as comfortable as possible in front of the camera so that we can capture authentic moments. We are blessed to capture memories for our clients and build relationships along the way.
A little bit about us:
We have been married for 9 years now, but have basically been best friends since the 2nd grade. In fact, we have artwork hanging up in our home that we made together in 2nd grade. (Cheesy, we know.) Our son, Elias, is the light of our lives and keeps us on our toes with his spunk. We also have 2 Bassett Hounds, Mika (Mee-ka) and Maggie, and they are probably the sassiest and laziest dogs you will ever meet. In our free time we love to take adventures and spend as much time traveling as we can. We love Chinese food and probably eat it way too often. Our favorite place on earth is the ocean, but Disney is a close 2nd. And, we love spending time outside!
How long have you been doing photography?
Carson started shooting back in 2010. He bought his first camera with our wedding money and the rest is history! Whitney started shooting in 2018, and has barely put the camera down since.
What are your favorite types of sessions?
Carson- Seniors and engagements are my favorite. I love building relationships during sessions and getting to hear their stories. It's fun to be able to do engagement sessions, because when I shoot their weddings I know how to capture their personalities.
Whitney- Newborns for sure! I love getting to capture those first weeks because babies change so quickly. I love getting to know the parents during sessions and it's so fun watching the kiddos grow during milestone sessions. That said, I do also love family sessions. I love trying to capture people just being themselves. Most of the time my favorite pictures from sessions are ones where the family are interacting with one another, parents tickling kiddos, etc.
